really wish they had a steadier view of the landing... but awesome none the less.
Just has the feel of a faked video, shakey video with lots of quick cuts

I think it is definitely a faked movie.
Physics/motion wise it just doesn't look natural, together with the "surrounded by professional cameramen, yet not having a clear shot" part makes it fairly obvious.

Fake

I think it's either fake, or he landed nowhere near where they expected him to and had to zoom the video in later to see what's going on.
But, uh...yeah, it's probably fake.

Fakity fake fake. Did you notice in the shots as he was coming into the water how slow he was going? about 20 mph, not the 120-130 he would be going. Here is the money shot for fakery, looks like they used MS paint for the water particles.

Here is what you really want to see

I just saw that too. Crazy. Just imagine the paper cuts. Sounds like one of those 'Would you rathers' from when we were kids.

definitely fake, though a water landing would be doable if you flew into a strong headwind and planed out to decrease forward momentum.
dangerous as fuck, but doable.

Probably fake. If it wasn't, then we have a NEW BELLY FLOP CHAMPION OF THE UNIVERSE!!

I can't wait for those awful "vintage" transitions to go out of style. Worse than J.J. Abrams and lens flares.

Not even a good fake.
